Skills:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, A+, MCP Certifications, Active Directory, Windows Server and WorkStation Administration
Job Summary:
Provide technical assistance to clients in person, via telephone, or remotely. Assist IT team with support, maintenance, configuration, development and deployment of all areas of technology within the company to include: hardware, software, wiring, telecom, networking, etc.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide technical support as required for internal and external users.
Handle user questions and issues from multiple mediums: phone, email, face-to-face.
Effectively and efficiently communicate with customer to identify symptoms, causes and solutions.
Support installation of new systems as required.
Document all customer issues and resolutions within IT Departments call tracking software.
Work assigned shifts and off-duty on-call shifts as necessary.
Local travel for support issues will be required.
Install, update and troubleshoot computer hardware and software.
Work with various personnel to help develop more efficient and functional ways to complete tasks.
Assist the Network Administrator and Network Engineer with all projects.
Ability to lift a minimum of 40lbs which will be required for moving various equipment such as servers, printers, networking equipment, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Information Technology.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required and minimum 2 years experience with technical support and/or implementation is preferred. Successful candidates will possess strong analytical and communication skills, Windows and Active Directory, networking and application support experience. Technical problem solving skills and ability to work independently are required.
FIELD ENGINEER
Required Education and Experience:

Job Summary:
OmegaCor Technologies has an immediate opening for a Field Engineer who is highly motivated, independent, and task oriented, for our small business infrastructure. The Field Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of Customer Technical Support including networks, applications, databases, and telecommunications. This includes implementation, configuration, coordination, control, maintenance, troubleshooting, usage monitoring, and assist in the development of procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Proficient in maintenance of Microsoft Windows Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange 2007, Microsoft SQL Server, VMware Infrastructure, LAN/WAN/VPN, Data back-up and recovery activities
Provides network support including installing networked application software, firewalls, user management, access, authentication, and permissions
Investigates error messages and determines resolution, reinstalls program or replaces hardware/software that are causing errors
Installs, modifies and makes minor repairs to personal computer hardware and software systems, and provides technical advice and support to system users
Participates in planning and implementation of company wide technology initiatives, procedures and upgrades
Monitors local-area (LAN) and wide-area (WAN/VPN) networking, switches, routers, firewalls, security, intrusion detection, data lines, and networking monitoring
Maintains documentation of network, and performs administration of the server infrastructure
